He is a municipal code and election law specialist who successfully challenged residency rules for candidates for Chicago Alderman before the Illinois Supreme Court. In addition, he is a licensed private investigator in the State of Illinois.
David Witz is currently an emeritus associate who was a writer/producer specializing in advertising and political advocacy work. Based in Philadelphia, David works closely with IBEW Local 98, other East Coast building trades unions, and top political consultants.
A Chicago native whose byline appeared regularly in the Chicago Daily News, Rolling Stone, Chicago Reader, Playboy and elsewhere throughout the 70s, David started winning the first of many advertising awards while on staff at CBS Records, New York in the 80s. He is a partner at Philadelphia’s Engagement Studios, specializing in media creation and production for advocacy, public initiatives and political issues.
